- Household hardship assessment data: information you provide about your household (such as size, income range, life events, location, and needs) that we use to match you with relevant programs.
- Payment information: when you upgrade, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We receive limited details (such as a customer ID, plan, and payment status) from Stripe.
- Usage data: basic logs about how you interact with the platform (pages visited, opportunities saved) to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Match your household to scholarships, grants, and relief programs.
- Maintain your account and personalized roadmap.
- Process payments and provide access to paid features.
- Send opportunity alerts, deadline reminders, and service emails (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time).
- Improve the accuracy of matching and the overall product.
3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
HopeBridge AI does not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your data to advertisers or data brokers.
4. Service Providers
We use trusted infrastructure providers to operate the service:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and backend hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing for one-time and subscription plans.
These providers only access the information needed to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
5. Email Communications
We may send you transactional emails (account, billing, and security messages) and, if relevant to your household, alerts about new funding opportunities. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to follow current best practices.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
8. Your Rights

- Export the household data you have provided.
- Opt out of marketing emails.
- Request that we delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
9. Children's Privacy
HopeBridge AI is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
