Welcome to HopeBridge AI. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. What HopeBridge AI Does

HopeBridge AI helps families discover scholarships, hardship grants, bereavement aid, and local relief programs they may be eligible for. We surface information and matches — we do not award funds, guarantee eligibility, or process applications on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use HopeBridge AI. You agree to provide accurate information about your household so we can produce meaningful matches.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Plans and Payments

HopeBridge offers a free preview and paid plans (one-time unlock and monthly monitoring). Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a plan you authorize the applicable charges.

One-time unlock: grants access to the full roadmap features described at checkout.
Monthly monitoring: auto-renews each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the billing period.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. No Professional or Financial Advice

HopeBridge AI provides general information about funding opportunities. We are not a financial advisor, lender, attorney, or government agency. Always verify eligibility, deadlines, and requirements directly with the program provider before applying.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute our content without permission.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

7. Communications

By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails (account, billing, security) and, where relevant, opportunity alerts. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time.

8. Third-Party Services

HopeBridge AI is built on infrastructure from providers including Supabase (database and authentication) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services through HopeBridge AI is also subject to their respective terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The HopeBridge AI platform, including its content, software, and branding, is owned by HopeBridge AI and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that you will qualify for, receive, or be awarded any program listed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HopeBridge AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of funds, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a risk to the service or other users.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
